Upon successful completion of this course, students will: Become proficient in discussing how different postures and practices can help in different diseases Be able to distinguish different conditions for each individual system and suggest tailored management plans Understand the pathophysiological aspects of the disease conditions Be able to convey the benefits of yoga as an adjunctive therapy and conditions where it may be used as a primary conservative treatment Be prepared as Clinical Yoga therapists in the clinical setting and expand on the importance of using yoga as part of a holistic treatment plan

❏ The Intense Yoga Therapy course will be a series of online teaching lectures and online interactions with students that will expand their knowledge on the use of yoga in various particular disease states. The course will adopt a system-wise approach, to the benefits of yoga and explore how various yoga based tools and practices can help towards alleviating diseases and improving the quality of life.

❏ Intense disease based theory blended with pathophysiology of the disease and Yoga therapy beneficial for for it.

❏ Learn the detailed pathophysiological aspects of a disease and understand how yoga may be helpful as an adjunctive and conservative form of treatment

❏ Learn the role of yoga in the disease states and the appropriate postures and practices to be recommended in specific disease

❏ Learn the current treatment recommendations for the disease and the role of yoga in these treatment plans
