Do you know that the human body has a great ability to cleanse itself. Organs such as Liver are the detox hubs!!

Sedentary work profile
Not much of exercise
Eat whatever is tasty especially from outside
Sleep very late
Alcohol to unwind in the weekend
I think I can add more to the list. But let’s understand WHY the above are most important causative factors and HOW you can slowly get healthy through DETOX.
Causes such as sedentary lifestyle and improper diet alter and slow the metabolism, delayed sleep and stress alter circadian rhythm and therefore can lead to increased cortisol levels. This can further induce increase in blood sugar levels.
HOW do you reverse? Through Detoxification!
Detox is the elimination of toxic substances from our body. Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy describe various procedures to detox.
Detox as per Ayurveda
Ayurveda describes Panchakarma (5 Detoxification therapies) which mainly deals with purification of the body there by strengthening the body’s immune system, restoring the body’s inner balance. It is done by the means of 5 unique procedures ie Vamana (emisis), Virechana (purgation), Basti (Medicated Enema), Nasya(administration of nasal errhines) and Raktamokshana (Blood letting therapy). After ascertaining the cause for accumulation of ama (toxins) in the body, the physician identifies the panchakarma to be used to treat the cause in an individual.
Detox as per Naturopathy
A Naturopathic detox treatment focus on eliminating toxins from your body through a natural diet containing fruits, vegetables, juices and water. Detox is simply a way to clear out toxins from body. Massages and mud packs also form a part of detoxing through naturopathy. Mud, one of the five elements of nature, plays an important role in curing the body from certain diseases.
