VHG- Vivekananda Health Global, is an initiative of Vyasa Health Care, Bengaluru.

Evolution of Vyasa Health Care and Our Founders.

Inspired by the teachings of Swami Vivekananda, we a group of professionals evolved a process of transforming healthcare at a global level through Integrative Medicine.

Vyasa Health Care Pvt Ltd was thus established in 2014 and has pioneered in the field of Integrative Medicine, using the systems of Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy to develop its services and products. The services using Integrative medicine are delivered through the chain of centers called ‘Vivekananda Health Global’ (VHG). The standalone centers catering to Yoga and Yoga therapy are called ‘Vivekananda Health Global’ (Yoga therapy). The products designed based on the fundamental principles of Ayurveda,Yoga and Naturopathy are branded under the name ‘VHG’.

Vyasa Health Care was founded by Dr. Manjunath Sharma and Dr. Vasudha M Sharma who are professionals with rich experience of more than 2 decades in their respective fields.

Vyasa Health care is an outreach partner of VYASA, a premier health and research unit, Bengaluru. Vyasa Health Care has always found the support of beloved Guruji Dr.HR Nagendra, Chancellor SVYASA University, Bengaluru as a mentor.

How Vivekananda Health Global Evolved?

Our founders ‘the couple’ Dr. Vasudha M Sharma and Dr. Manjunath Sharma come with an under graduation of Ayurveda and Naturopathy respectively and PhD in Yoga. Therefore they possess great scientific temperament and keen interest in understanding other systems of healing. Regular discussions and exchange of knowledge helped them evolve the methodology for Integrating Ayurveda Yoga and Naturopathy with conventional medicine and also mainstream the traditional systems of healing.

The ancient scripture ‘Charaka Samhita’ suggests that Ayurveda needs to evolve with time. It needs to understand changing environmental circumstances and address healthcare needs accordingly. It encourages learning and assimilating the best from other forms of healthcare systems. The same applies to all other traditional healing methodologies. Therefore the primary objective is to heal a person rather than creating any hierarchical structure among the systems of healing.

About the Brand Vivekananda Health Global

Vivekananda Health Global is the first international chain of integrative medicine centers across India and abroad, promoting the integration of Indian systems of medicine - Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy.

Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy have been gaining global attention because of their success in preventing and managing Non-communicable diseases which are growing disproportionately. Our experience of an evidence-based approach in integrating traditional systems as well as establishing centers with functional integration of multi-medical systems forms the foundation for the evolution of Vivekananda Health Global. Founders

Dr. Manjunath Sharma – BNYS, PhD, DSc

Dr.Manjunath is the founder Director of Vyasa Health Care and is presently the Chief technical consultant, a very well-known personality, Nationally and Internationally in the field of Yoga and Naturopathy. Currently,Pro Vice chancellor and Director of Research at SVYASA University, (A deemed to be University recognized by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India), Bengaluru and Professor & Head, Anvesana Research laboratories, S-VYASA University, Bengaluru.

Has been a Principal Investigator for various yoga-based projects in collaboration with NIMHANS, GOVT of KARNATAKA and Institute of Nuclear Medicine DRDO to name a few. Many of his publications can be found in the International Journal of Yoga, The Journal of science and healing, International Journal of Complementary & Alternative Medicine, Advances in Integrative Medicine and International Journal of Adolescent Medicine and many more. He also has various professional achievements to his credit such as:

Dr. Vasudha M Sharma – BAMS, MSc & PhD Yoga

Dr.Vasudha M Sharma is the Co founder and CEO of Vyasa Health Care and is heading the health care brand Vivekananda Health Global as Director of Medical Services, is an entrepreneur in the field of Integrative medicine, an Ayurveda and Yoga therapy researcher, Specialty consultant and an International speaker.

She has completed a Bachelor’s degree in Ayurveda from the Govt. Ayurveda Medical College, Bengaluru in the year 1999 and a Masters in Yoga Therapy from S-VYASA University in the year 2005. She also completed a Ph.D., in Yoga from S-VYASA University.

She has made a humble beginning to her carrier as an academician, a clinical practitioner from 19 years FROM 2006. But what troubled her always was the un-tapped potentials of Ayurveda and the process involved in scaling it up. To understand the process, she took up the Franchise of Ayush Therapy Center- The first ever Franchise models in Ayurveda by an FMCG, the Hindustan UniLever Ltd. She further established Samatvam Healthcare for Ayurveda and Yoga therapy services before moving to Integrative medicine combining the traditional Indian systems of medicine, where she co-founded the brands Vivekananda Health Global and Vivekananda Yoga Global under the umbrella of VYASA Healthcare Pvt. Ltd

She has been a speaker at several international conferences held at Shanghai (China), Miryang City (South Korea), University of Parma (Italy).

She has published research papers in peer reviewed pubmed indexed medical journals and her area of specialization includes integrative pain management with a focus on Migraine headache and women health problems including infertility.

Accomplishments

Vyasa Health Care Won the 'NICE Aarohana' Business plan competition in march 2021. Dr. Vasudha represented the company.

She has the Distinction of being a part of 25 women cohort selected by Global Alliance for mass Entrepreneurship for training and support which concluded in July 2021. She was part of Aspire for Her cohort in September 2021where 30 women across India were selected in the space of Nutraceuticals and Preventive Health care for prospects of scaling up.
