Brief Course Content-

⁍ This special program for the kids is designed to improve a child’s overall personality at Physical, Psychological, Emotional and Intellectual levels

⁍ This Program is suitable for Kids from Age 8 years to 15 years of age

⁍ They will perform Yoga One hour a Day for 3 Days a week to help develop Physical stamina, Emotional stability and Intellectual and Creative talents.

Activity: Breathing with awareness using an object For example: For abdominal breathing Place a Toy or soft pillow on the kid’s abdomen and instruct them to breathe

Suryanamaskara-

With Prayer and Beejamantra chanting: - Details to be told and Breathing Techniques to be taught in each step of Surya namaskar. Activity: Blindfold and choose any number from 1 to 10 or 12 and the child has to do that particular step of Surya namaskar.

Asanas based on Nature and Objects

Example: Mountain pose, Tree pose Objects like: Wheel pose, Bridge pose, Table chair, Triangle pose, Bow pose, Plow pose Activity: Holding Tree pose without losing balance. To see how long a child can hold it. This build’s a sportive environment.

Bindu Trataka || Jatru trataka Activity: Pair of kids has to look at each other without blinking their eyes winner has to play with others & finally one winner will be chosen.

Suryathon

Start with simple loosening, continue Suryanamaskara with chanting followed by Yoga Nidra.

Flow Yoga

Activity: Divide kids into two groups Each group can discuss and come up with a story or at least form a sentence using the asana. Example: Vruksha, Garuda, bhujanga - Meaning: A Eagle (garuda) sitting on a tree (Vruksha) saw a Snake (Bhujanga)
